OUR VOICES
CAN MAKE
REVOLUTIONS

Cuba teach us about friendship and internationalism:
Trump wants to suffocate it. We simply say “NO”.

Let Cuba Breathe campaign aims to provide concrete help to Cuban people, oppressed for
over 60 years by the cruel bloqueo imposed by the US and victims, under the Trump
administration, of a further tightening of these measures targeted to fuel supply.
Thank to donations, we purchase and deliver in Cuba medical supplies, daily medicines, and
oncology machinery and drugs. In March 2026, we made our first donation, transporting the
items by hand with a group of volunteers as the European Force of the Nuestra América Convoy.
In April we’re sending a second batch of donations in a container from Italy.
On May the 1st, ad Brigada Primero De Mayo, we’re going to be alongside the Cuban people
at the Celebration of The Labor Day. A historic act of international solidarity.

TOTAL VALUE OF THE AID
COLLECTED FOR CUBA

The March initiative was much more than a mission. It was a concrete response, built together, that turned solidarity into real, measurable actions.

Overall, between financial donations and medical supplies collected, the total value of aid brought to Cuba exceeds €500,000 — a testament to a broad and coordinated collective effort.

DIRECT DONATIONS:
Direct donations received by AICEC amount to €57,000, allocated as follows:
55% for the purchase and transport of medicines and medical devices (two containers dispatched, with further shipments planned)
15% for communication and outreach activities
20% for supporting the flotilla from Mexico
10% for European Convoy logistics
Each allocation was designed to maximize concrete impact and ensure the continuity of initiatives.

MATERIAL DONATIONS AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT:
Alongside financial donations, contributions in goods and direct participation played a key role:
€120,000 in medicines collected through the collaboration of ordinary citizens and partner associations, carried directly by the 120 delegates in their own luggage
€400,000 in additional medical supplies already earmarked for a container departing in April 1 further container planned to coincide with the Brigada Primero De Mayo

RESULTS AND IMPACT:
This shared commitment has produced concrete results. Over €500,000 worth of medical supplies have been mobilized: aid that has already arrived in Cuba with the first Convoy, is currently on its way, or will arrive with the second Convoy, following a continuity built step by step.
Behind these numbers lies a living network of delegates, volunteers, and organizations that chose to show up, working together in a coordinated and sustained way.
At the same time, the Let Cuba Breathe campaign helped broaden awareness of what is happening, reaching 4 million views and generating over 100 articles across print and online media.
This is how solidarity takes shape: when it becomes action, organization, and sustained presence over time.
That is why the Convoy does not end with a single mission. It continues, with the goal of providing concrete, ongoing, and transparent support.
Every future contribution is part of this path already underway: a way to give continuity to what we have built together.

HOW IT STARTED: THE STORY OF ASFIXIA

The bloqueo imposed by Trump is stripping millions of people of fuel, medicine, and hope.
Hear their voices, lister to their stories. And break the silence: since good people
raise their voice to tell the truth, Cuba no está sola.
