On March 17, a plane will depart from Italy as the air fleet of the Nuestra América Convoy. Each passenger will carry two bags of medicinal donations collected through our campaign. On March 21, we will welcome the maritime fleet sailing from the Caribbean to reach Havana’s Malecón.

ON MARCH 17, A PLANE LOADED WITH AID DEPARTS
The “Let Cuba Breathe” campaign joins the Organizing Committee of the Nuestra América Convoy to coordinate the delivery of essential medicines to Cuba. On March 17, a plane departs loaded with humanitarian aid. Whether you are an individual, an association, or a collective, you can make a concrete contribution: donate medicines that will travel on the Air Convoy and arrive directly to the Cuban people.
HOW TO DO IT
Bring or send medicines to the collection points in Turin or Rome. We will take care of boarding them with the departing delegation.

Who we are
AICEC— Agency for Cultural and Economic Exchange with Cuba was founded in 2015 with the goal of supporting Cuba’s welfare model and accompanying the process of updating the country’s economic model, in opposition to the cruel bloqueo imposed by the United States.
We are a non-profit association that promotes dialogue and cultural and economic relations between Cuba and Italy. We contribute to Cuba’s development while respecting the priorities of the Revolution’s social economy, working in collaboration with Cuban institutions such as ICAP, to build bonds founded on respect, cooperation, and mutual exchange, with a view to shared growth.
The Call
After more than sixty years of Bloqueo,
Trump has decided to further tighten
the measures against Cuba, directly targeting
the fuel supply.
This criminal choice, contrary to international
law, is against a nation and its people.
It is a collective punishment that spills over
into the daily life of millions of people.
The lives of Cubans are suffocated. The lack of
fuel and energy is paralyzing the country:
schools and universities are forced to close,
agricultural and industrial production cannot
function, transportation comes to a halt, water often
no longer runs in homes, and the risk of health crises
and epidemics increases.
People are prevented from working,
from thinking, from deciding, from living.
Hospitals, already under pressure, struggle
to guarantee even the most basic services.
In pediatric oncology wards,
where children are fighting to live,
the word asphyxia is no longer a metaphor:
it is a concrete threat.
No human being should be deprived
of oxygen, care, electricity, and hope.
No country should be able to do this to a
people, especially to the Cuban people,
champions of internationalism and altruism.

They also die of silence.
